
The Government of Ghana has inaugurated a new Governing Council for Komenda College of Education
Accra, October 14, 2025, The Government of Ghana has inaugurated a new Governing Council for Komenda College of Education, Komenda, at an official ceremony held at the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) Auditorium in Accra.
The inaugural event marks a significant milestone in strengthening governance and accountability within Colleges of Education across the country most especially in Komenda College of Education. The newly constituted Council is mandated to provide strategic leadership, policy direction, and oversight to ensuring the continuous improvement of teacher education at Komenda College of Education.
The Council is chaired by Rt. Rev. Richardson Aboagye Andam, with Very Rev. Prof. Kwesi Nkum Wilson as Principal. Other members are drawn from government agencies, academia, and representatives from the College community.
