Komenda College of Education beats Technical Universities and other Colleges to Win the Southern Zone Maiden Edition of the Insurance Debate Competition.
Komenda college of education has emerged winners of the maiden Edition of the Southern Zone Insurance debate competition organized by Insurance companies in Ghana.
The two-day debate programme was held at the school of Medical Sciences Auditorium, University of Cape Coast, UCC on the 4th and 5th November, 2022.
The Southern Tertiary institutions that participated include;
1. Takoradi Technical University
2. Koforidua Technical University
3. Accra Technical University
4. Ho Technical University
5. Enchi College of Education
6. Kibi Presbyterian College of Education.
7. Komenda College of Education
Contestants who represented Komenda college of education were; Korto, Jessica Makafui, Micheal Asabil, and Constance Tawiah.
These individuals pulled up tremendous propositions as they managed to ‘whip’ the aforementioned schools.
Mr. Benjamin Henry Taylor, Mr. Solomon Dadzie, and Mr. Alhaji Ibrahim Waziri were the instructors who prepared these individuals ahead of the competition.
The Competition was geared towards educating and disseminating ideas on the necessity for an insurance coverage.
Winning the Southern Zone, Komenda College of Education would be heading to Accra on 16th November 2022 for the National Contest, as they battle it out with Saint Johns College of Education(BOSCO), Winners of the Northern Zone.
