REPORT ON INAUGURAL MEETING FOR GENDER EQUALITY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION (GESI) COMMITTEE ON 4TH APRIL, 2022
Komenda College of Education is gracefully poised to translate its GESI responsive policies into a more evidential practice at all levels. In response to this call, a 7-member GESI Committee was constituted after a high level of thoughtful stakeholder’s engagement to coordinate with the Grievance and Sexual Harassment Committees to adequately address GESI issues in the College and to ensure that a GESI responsive approach is adopted and institutionalized in all College operations.

In the company of Ms. Constance Afriyie (Ag. College Secretary) and Ms. Mercy Abah (Ag. College Librarian) the Principal, Very Rev. Kwesi Nkum Wilson on Monday, April 4, 2022 inaugurated the Committee. Members were sworn in as GESI incumbent to implement all aspects of the GESI activities as per their mandates.
Members were congratulated and implored to put out their best for the College to maintain its image as an inclusive and sexual harassment free College.
Members reiterated their commitment to providing the College Community with services that will strengthen our GESI responsiveness and thanked the College Management for the opportunity.
