The first Workshop of the Komenda College Challenge fund workshop for tutors in improving the pedagogical skills through the use of technology to improve teaching and learning has been successfully organized. The Challenge Fund project is a college based project in partnership with the University of Education, Winneba and supported by T-TEL. Tutors busily working at the workshop The workshop saw most tutors of the college busily reactivating their skills in internet search, Ms-Word and Ms-Excel. the Principal of the College, Madam Comfort Sarpong Akosa, opened the session with a short address urging tutors to take advantage of the programme to upgrade thier skills in using ICT for teaching and learning. Most tutors enjoyed the sessions and were able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of these application. Also present at the workshop were Mrs. Rosemary Bosu, College Improvement Advisor, Mr. Anthony Woode Brown, T-TEL field supervisor for central Western Colleges. Mrs. Bosu, admonished tutors to take the workshop more serious in order to reap the right dividends. She opined that an ICT oriented tutor should endeavour to integrate technology in thier daily routines to the total benefit of the trainees.
